    1. How can I make my parents to forgive me? How can I stop making so many promises and make them change before it comes to being bad promises coming?

      1. Hi Dana, I’m so sorry for the tough situation you’re in. We can’t make anybody else do anything. Even something as important as forgiving us. Just be confident that you are OK now, and you will still be OK, even if this situation doesn’t change. Believe in yourself and give yourself a bit of grace. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you soo much, I just broke down after realizing that I keep breaking my own promises, that it’s also affecting me and driving me further apart from my family and friends. And I randomly searched that’s how I found this post.
Thank you, it has helped me abit.

    1. Hi Luqman, I’m so sorry you’re in pain. I can tell you feel regret for disappointing your girlfriend, and probably yourself. Your question is too deep to answer quickly in a blog comment, but I want to encourage you to forgive yourself so that you can choose new behaviors moving forward. What’s one way you can stop looking back so that you can trust yourself in the future?
