It’s Ok To Be Who You Are, Wisdom From Kim Coles
It’s ok to be who you really are? That’s the topic of discussion in this episode. This week’s guest hardly needs an introduction. The voice, the spirit, and the energy enter the room before she does. Kim Coles is here to say it’s ok to be who you are. No, really. She is handing out permission slips. (I took 3.)
In today’s show:
This episode is a wild ride that you will probably want to take twice. We start our conversation with the one thing Kim would like to pour into women’s heads. That is:
- Permission to live out loud
- Permission to live a good life
- Permission for radical self care
- Permission to be the best you ever
And perhaps most importantly, it’s permission to be who you are. So many women are stuck because they are asking permission to live fully. Is it ok if I shine? If I speak in a meeting? If I leave this bad relationship? We have this yearning for someone to tell us it’s ok. It’s ok.
Other topics include:
- When neglecting ourselves became a badge of honor
- What self care means
- The surprising reasons we’re afraid of self care
- The obvious AND hidden benefits of taking care of yourself
- The stunning moment when Kim found herself broke and broken. And how she got over it.
- Kim’s favorite self care exercise
And don’t blink. Kim even flipped the script and started coaching me! And I loved it.
Kim’s passion to help us be our best selves has led her to launch a new Kimunity (looove that) that you can get in on now. Her new membership is for like-minded people who need connection and community as they learn how to up-level their lives in a way that feels yummy and powerful.
Space is limited, but visit http://Kimunitytribe.com to see if there is still room. She is really clear that the best version of ourselves is there for the asking. This yearning that we have is really coming from within. Get quiet and listen to what’s within instead of constantly reaching out.
